Guess where.....

Hey guys
Completely off topic ... but try guess where me new 737-700 took me today.
Just added this scenery to FS2004 and it looks just like the real place.

I was wondering also how many pilots actually jump onto flight sims (just the home pc type) to help prepare for job interviews and stuff. Im a ppl pilot studying at Uni (Ba science[aviation]) and use FS2004, PS1.3744 and others and i find the complex a/c u can get on them really teach you things u cant learn in the class.

Anyway heres the pic....

JT, southwest corner near the 06 threashold.

RAC is pretty acurate, and the number of Tigers is right, but no Chippy

How, how do you get at 733 onto the taxiway without blowing everyone away Almost as much fun as a 707!

Just to start the debate off ... I only use Flight Sim. when polishing up on IFR procedures, nothing more.....
What I mean by that is the mathematical aspect (doing your ADF figures, holding pattern entry procs. etc.) Anything more than that and you are, I believe myself, getting your hopes up. It is one thing to land an A320 or 737 on flight sim on the numbers in 0/0 conditions. It is quite something else when you are in actual IMC flight.
You dont have that lingering feeling over your head on the sim.

However, I do have to admit that some of those a/c can have rather "realistic" (in the most general term of the word) panels in their operations. For example the A320 panel I use works rather like the actual airbus cockpit (verified by an Air Canada captain). However, like I said above programming the panel and converting that to the real world should be treated with caution. After all..you do buy it off the game shelf....

Let the debate begin!!!

Talking

Cool!

Looks like Chinky South have replaced their accommodation building with a whole suburb.

I'm sure that wasn't there off the end of 30 this morning, but hey.

Can you pan it along to my place?

RACWA has 3 Tigers? I know there was CKF and FAS, but the third? Or is that BTP (i.e. doesn't belong to the Club)?

Push-Back could be interesting

UNBFKNLVBL

Great graphics very real, true to life and up to date.

1 and a quarter tigers owned but there is always plenty of others around. Not sure if Glen would like to see the hangar that empty!.

Min the last building I can see when I scan right is the WAM building. Seems Phonix is missing though??

I am told that it does go along the whole flight line with the same accuracy, so yep there would be the a tramahawk on the tarmac down your way. Ps Hows the boy doing?

VH-RWT where/how did you get the ad on from, am very interested in getting a copy.

Cheers
