Go for it man. Better to try and decide its not for you than die wondering. There are plenty of us in the industry who didn't get into it in untill they were well into there 30's.
If you are doing well at your job at the moment there will always be opportunities to go back to it.

Fly for fun and enjoy it.
The golden years of aviation are well and truly over. Now it's just a fowl yard with everyone fighting for the scraps.
My 2.2cents (GST inc) worth.

Go For It!
TD:
My dad always had good advice to cover dilemmas like the one you're currently confronted with. The piece of advice he would have proferred here in this instance is:
Don't make your choices mutually exclusive - try and satisfy both.

Never give up
Yo Dude, if you want something bad enough then the sacrifices you make will seem insignificant when you finally land that full time job for an airline, on good coin, believe me i speak from 17 years in the aviation industry and i have been dicked over as much as anyone. If dreams were easy to reach then they wouldn't be dreams would they. The 3 golden rules when wanting a career as a pilot are NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER GIVE UP , NEVER GIVE UP.hang in there mate it will happen.
