That's the article I was looking for...

Some interesting stats in there. Especially 40% of stall/spins starts <250ft AGL. Just enough time to put your head between your legs and kiss your arse goodbye.

I've done some spinning in a Robin, from 6000' . It was eye-opening to see fully developed spins etc. However, I don't consider myself an expert in them, easiest way to survive one, don't get into one in the first place.
