NZ Immigration

I recently completed the NZ Draft Expression of Interest online at the NZ Immigration Services website, paid my $350 odd, and am now waiting...? I believe that what happens is they now go through a list of interested people and decide if they will take my application further. Also, if the application is not looked at in the next 6 months, I'm told that I have to re-apply, pay again and continue to wait?

Does anybody out there have a clue as to how this application could be followed up or approached alternatively in order to at least see it move?

I suggest this is the LAST place to seek advic e - why don't you contact a Lawyer/Law firm specialising in such issues?

NZ Immi

Hi 126

I am currently in NZ from the UK and have looked into migration myself. I had a meeting with Malcolm Pacific an migration agent in Auckland.

During the meeting we discussed the expression of interest pool. Apparently the applicants with the most points are selected from the pool and on average have between 185 - 195 points. Although entry into the pool is CA 100 points.

A job offer in a skilled job that you are qualified to do and have >3 years work experience in will increase your points.

Good Luck.

Mighta crossed your mind that this is the last place I'm looking!

hughey

Thanks! Yeah, I only score 100 exactly due age and have no intention of working in NZ. I simply want to live there and commute to work. I'll lookup MP.

You shouldn't have too much trouble getting in there.

From my observation they have let just about everyone else in.

If you had "dirty money" or a potential terrorist, it would not have troubled you in the past..

However it helps to be well connected. Believe a close relative of Sadam Hussein is a resident.

Did his close family ties make him a terrorist too then? I personally do not know the chap to whom you refer. I do know that if my brother were a terrorist that would certainly not influence my values.

I'd hate to remind of all the trashy undesireables that inhabit your (and my home) continent...!

I didn't say the relative was a suspected terrorist. Only said he was a close relative to Sadam, therefore you could say he is "well connected"

126.9,

I can sympathize mate, I went through the same BS myself,NZ are quite rightly protecting their borders against mass immigration and all the social problems the UK is experiencing.
I understand their minister for immigration was removed from her post , under similar circumstances as the UK minister last week.
Keep trying you'll eventually get in Micheal Barrymore did !!!!!!!!

if you want in, do as follows.......

apply mid tan brown shoe nugget to arms, face (and other exposed body parts)

dont shave for a month,

go to st vinnys and get the oldest rags u can,

fly into the country and claim u have no passport

the nz govt will then,

give u a state house and put you on a benefit, and allow u to stay for as long as u want.

osamas right hand man came to nz in the early 90's posing as a leather salesman,

a word of warning though dont try this in australia, they will lock u up in the desert .

Actually, all Kiwis who want to live in OZ are actively encouraged to leave - it has the advantage of increasing the average IQ in both countries....

I take it your from Ozz. If so, did your ancestors come out voluntarily or were they part of the enforced "braindrain" from the UK all those years ago?

The Aussie government needed something done about the low average IQ, so I guess thats why all the Kiwis are allowed over to raise the IQ levels.

Dunno where you would get that silly idea from. in my part of the world, Kiwis are only labourers and machine operators.
They are extreemly easy to find though........just look for something yellow and there will be a kiwi driving it............ or their down the pub moaning about getting their asses kicked in the rugby............again.
