Best place to do Instructor Rating...
Hi everyone,
Looking for some advice into the best place in NZ to doing a C-cat with possible employment afterwards...
I've been told to go to QN...but to work down there is mighty tough for a jaffa..you need 50 hours local time, the C-Cat course they offer only gives you 10, then the extra 40 you get by sitting as a co-pilot on the Milford runs at $174/hr (as a co-pilot?!).
Anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Cheers!

Waikato Aero Club do a good job - they might be a bit busy at the mo but give the CFI a call. Bay Flight in TG and New Plymouth Aero Club are also good bets - try and find somewhere where they're short of instructors or soon to be so.
