NGT currency

Wondering what reg Night currecncy falls under.
eg, how many TKOF and LDG and hours in the past year or what ever it is?

OK, for a PVT C182 flight I need 1hr in the last 12 months a 1 TKOF and hopfully LDG in the last 6 months. What about if I though in a couple of bums in the back seat?

Bums in the back and you need 3 TO and L in the last 90 days, same as for day ops.

Oh Yeah? Just how do you interpret those CAR to mean that night recency covers you for day? I'd be careful of that if I were you!

Correct DirectAnywhere, but I'll throw another spanner in the works....

PIFR has no currency requirements other than the pilot must be competent to conduct the flight therefore if your NVFR is not current just file IFR and you are legal!

Does flying NIFR then make your NVFR current?!?!?!

Good question, been a while since I looked at the PIFR stuff, but from memory you would need to meet the NVFR req and the 3 t/o and landings for a PVT night PIFR where there is more than one person in the aircraft.

Trusting my memory is dangerous .....
