All Sporting Aviators

May all of us who enjoy days off with a beer and the cricket give a moments thought to the family, friends and fellow team members of the late David Hooks.

This tragedy has left a big hole in the cricket world. A true leader, man of dedication, a man who could slog the leather ball for six.

To all who new him, Family and Friends, the deepest of sympathy is passed on from the Aviation Industry.

Hear, hear for Hooksey!
I was madly in love with him at at the age of 13. He was my idol. The sporting arena is a sadder place for his loss.

And couldn't he hit the ball!

Many years of great entertainment, a great life, a cricket hero!
