Question Embraer demonstrator in the country?

Can anyone confirm that an Embraer demonstrator aircraft (Embraer 170?) is in the country? I understand NJS may have been looking at it.

I also hear that Qantas are still considering the replacement for the 146. Will be interesting to see who gets the nod to operate the new type.

Someone said the new one, either the prototype or the 170 costs more than one of the A320/1/19's. Must be pretty economical operating costs if it can compete with those.
