Best jet airliner

What do you think is the nicest looking jet airliner that one can see over our heads today in Australia and/or the rest of the world?

Remember nicest looking not necessarily nicest to fly!

I think the DC-9/B717

Amen stooge.

The 727 looked like it just wanted to do Mach 0.89 - and that was at the gate!

Almost brings back the memories......."Set crackle power !"

And it had the looks and the noise to go with it.

I'll go thirds.

The 72 is IMO the horniest looking aircraft ever built.

VC10 isn't far behind, yet the Trident didn't have the correct aesthetic proportions, even if it is rear engined.

727 without a doubt. With the gear up one of the greatest looking aircraft in flight ever. Nothing like the sight of the early 100's with a huge plume of black smoke following it and the crackle only the 727 could make

Yes the 727 wins in appearances.

Most fun was the F28.

Most user friendly these days is probably the triple 7!

No contest! MD11 i sstreets in front. With the nosewheel 30feet back from the point it is an imposing look ing bit of machinery. At teh risk if bringing sex into it, it looks like a huge phallus.
The record of its predecessor wasn t good but we are only talkingabout looks.

Have to agree that the 727 is the one.

Caravelle not bad either, in a French sort of way

I wonder if we will ever see the day when VB- Capt will post a sober post instead of his usual "as drunk as a skunk post"!

It's been too long since I last saw a 727-200 so I'm going to say the MD11 followed by the A340 and CRJ .

amos is obviously looking for a scrap. Well my friend, I'm a pilot not a typist and obviously don't spend as much timet rawling these forums as you do and responding with provocative trivia/garbage.
So if you're looking for a bigger bite look elsewhere. I'm not such an easy mark as some of the others you have rubbed up with your semi intelligent rubbish. Perhaps that should be unintelligent rubbish??
I've taken a little more time with this post, and you will be happy to see there are fewer typos.
