Wanted - second hand reciever in Perth
I havent spelt it right probably not the right name for it either- What i want is one of those walkie talkie type radios that you can listen to ATC on. Nothing fancy - it doesent have to have VOR, transceiver etc. It just needs to work
I'll be in Perth next week for a while.
Appreciate any help and pardon my terrible spelling

G'day Irishwingz,
As soon as you land in Perth, go to the nearest newsagent and buy a copy of the "Quokka". It is a classified for sale magazine which I think comes out every week. From memory, costs about $4.00 AUD.
There is sure to be a scanner or two in there although a hand held jobbie might be a bit rarer than the desktop mains power type.
