$211,000,000 is a lot of money to get a return on out of the G.A. industry.

NO taxi levies, shop rentals, heavy aircraft arrivals or pax fees to help top up the coffers of the new owners.

ALL of it has to be sucked out of G.A. movements and parking. Just a 10% return will mean a net $21,000,000 over and above operating costs.

.......or closures and re-developments.

Just give it a year.

Watch for the extra price hikes al-la YMMB, YMEN & YBAF.

And according to the ABC tonight, the new owners have already announced that Hoxton Park will be closed in five years for commercial and industrial redevelopment.

Why am I not surprised?

Close and develop Hoxton Park and they have recouped their outlay. Easy.
My question is, if Camden was donated by the Macarthur family so long ago to the federal government, why hasn't that family kicked and screamed about the government profiting from their gift?????

Lightbulb

Unless the "Macarthur family" attached some strings to their gift, I suspect that the Government is free to dispose of the said gift in any way that they want.
