Question Fireworks

Hi All, something a bit different.
A friend's son in the UK has just SMS me this question to which I have no answer, wondering if you guys have?

"have any fireworks ever hit a plane? If so what happened?"

Regards and keep safe

Not sure about an aircraft. I remember seeing fireworks that were suspended from a chopper go everywhere ( including into the main blades of said chopper.) I think it was for the skyshow in Perth a few years ago.
It appeared to deflect the fireworks - which added a greater effect.

Chopper appeared OK.

I know N_A_P has what appears to be bullet hole damage on his newly done up TB 20, mmmmmmmm, comments Mr Nappy man!!!

Was on approach in a lightie one saturday night into Brissy on rwy 14. somewhere near the west end of that causeway/long skiny bridge thingy whatever its called looking out the front saw fireworks coming up and going off. Even though they were beneath the a/c, I hoiked it out over water pretty damn quick

NAP bullet holes???? What's that about?

Yer, have a look at the front right cowl. 2 bloody holes, got them at Coober Pedy.

There was a third but it fell off during some heavy rain in flight
