If any of you guys went to Wyndam or Halls Creek youd come up with answer very quickly, as to the quick change over of staff. There paying award wages. What is the award wage for a first year Chief Pilot with these minimums anyway?

Yep, HLC is indeed a hole. You're doing orright if you can withstand that for more than 6 months, I reckon! I'd prefer a Cattle Station, myself.

Oh no, the Wyndham CP job strikes again. Wonder if she lured them again with false promises of twin flying? With the 402 and Bongo endorsements being listed as "desirable" it looks like it will happen again...

And Cont-520 how long did u spend in the Crack mate? It ain't all bad if you get amongst the social scene with the other white folk in town

And Sheep Guts, CP award is around the $37-38,000 mark for ME IFR plus CP allowance (a whopping $50/week extra I believe!).

Off to another position with another company.

wyndham is cool (satire/joke) wyndham is what you make of it.

if you liked the outback and lots of serenity, wyndham or halls creek could be quite enjoyable for a couple of years, wyndham is a fishermans paradise...

TL,

Not long at all, mate. Only a matter of a a couple of weeks, but I found that to be long enough to dislike the place passionately. Of course, if you knit yourself into the community like you say I can imagine it would probably be bearable like you say.

The company went to court several times for breaches. What was the outcome of these?

I haven't heard the BN2 or C402 fly yet so don't know why the endorsements are required!

Wyndham cool....yeah right!

Talking Wyndham is the best

I dont know what u guys are talkin about this job is without doubt the best in Australia. but don't bother unless you got talent, negotiating skills, charisma, boxing skills, finance management skills, a good sense of humour and blind in one eye wouldn't hurt either, once you get in if it starts to hurt knock back a few red cans until the pain dissappears but the number of red cans required to get rid of the pain would probably cost more than u earn so maybe give it a miss.

there is hrs of endless entertainment goin on there, they got a big hill, the wharf, fishin, mud flats, spillway dam, grotto, race course and races, the wyndham club, balconys, drinkin,

the list is endless, if you cant have/make some fun round there then you are prolly pretty lame

and good luck to the new bloke by the way,

Bendo,

Affirm on the Vaggy! He's still fond of a "lock-in" too, as chinese chicken can attest to!

And CC, your last two attractions were probably the ones I saw the most during my time there - "...balconys, drinkin" !

Cheers,
TL

Chinese chicken,

You forgot to mention Wyndham has its very own 'Fightclub'......guaranteed entertainment out at the airport atleast 4 arvos a week..

Can you expand on what happens when you mix two of the forementioned attractions....ie maybe drinking and the wharf, or drinking and the grotto, or drinking and the old balcony even.
