logging hours in a foreign aircraft
Good day all
Hope someone can share some insight on this. I'm currently overseas and just got an email of a possible job offer but they need me to be current. I have a FAA license and there's no N registered aircraft where im vacationing So I've contacted a flight school and im going to go up for a few hours with an instructor to get current again and I was gonna plan on going for a joy flight and seeing the place im vacationing from a different perspective. Due to insurance purposes and flying the schools plane on a foreign license the school requires that an instructor is with me which I totally understand, rules are rules. How would one log these hours? could I log it as PIC still? Thanks in advanced. Regards Clinton |
FAA regs say you can log PIC time on anything you are rated in if you are the sole manipulator of the controls. But you already knew that.
