multi engine training

Hi Folks,

Does anybody know a cheap place in Florida to get the multi engine rating training?
I know some places in Texas where you can get it for 1000 bucks, but it`s too far away for me. Would appreciate any information for a training cost of 1000-1200 dollars

Thanks

You should realise that the cheaper prices are generally for a VFR multi-engine rating, IFR usually more.
'Course if all you need/want is VFR than many bargins around.
For example, here in Arizona, MEL in an Apachie can be had for about $1100. Excellent aeroplane to use as the handling is rather better than with some other aircraft.
