Commute to US from Europe?
Curious if anyone currently pulling this off and keeping their sanity that would be willing to share insight and experience. I知 from Spain and have been living and flying A320s in the US for a while now, but family and I would love to go back home. So I知 considering moving to Spain but keeping US major job, since conversion to EASA license seems a nightmare, and EU salaries generally not competitive. Any input is appreciated!
I know somebody who has done it for years. Kids in LA and main home and work in Germany. Green Card holder. The tickets do add up. Neither one thing nor the other. However the kids still know their dad.

I know both pilots and flight attendants who have done this. Of course, the best bet is to get on a widebody and bid for layovers in Spain! Re: tickets adding up - you should be able to jumpseat, and some majors are offering positive space commuting right now.
