Visiting the cockpit

Hi Everyone,
i'm going to America in july for a holiday and i was just wondering if it is harder to get a visit into the cockpit in the US than it is in Australia
I'm flying on United airlines from;
Sydney
SFO
Seattle
Anchorage
Denver
Thanks
Reece

Reece,

I expect the crew would be happy to have you visit. As you know, you can't do that in flight but at the gate is just fine.

I would suggest after arrival at the destination might be better as the crew won't be quite as busy as they are before departure.

Have a F/A tell the crew you'd like to stop by as you deplane so they'll expect you.
