schools to get an initial type rating

I recently got an internship at a simulator training center. They said they could use me as an instructor provided I get an unrestricted type. This requires the check ride to be in a jet. I know it will be very expensive but it will be worth because of the pay increase. I was hoping to get some professional opinions on where I should go to get my initial type.

So you're working for a 142 school and want to know what 142 school to go to? I'd suggest one that teaches the airframe you want the type on. And one that is authorized to give checks in the aircraft.

One of the owners at Higher Power used to tell the story of a client who called up and wanted a type "in a 737." They said that's what they did. The client said he wanted the training in the airplane, not the sim. They were able to put it together. No idea on the cost.
