AA training center

Hi there,

Does anybody have an email or a phone number of American Airlines training center at DFW ?
I'd like to check with them if I could book an A320 sim slot for an ATP check ride?
Thks

Greg

Under FAA regs (61.157(b)) you can't just take the checkride for a type rating. There has to be a record of training and a sign off from from an instructor. The reality is you have to go through a 121 or 142 training program and they will have the sim check as part of the program.

You'd have better luck with Aerosim.

EASA?

I assume you are looking for an FAA cert? If not you would need to make sure the sim was EASA certified and what others have said regarding previous training.

Good luck!

It is unlikely that AA will offer training/check for a private individual. What you need to find its a training outfit that utilizes the simulators at AA for training. Outfits like Flight Training International etc also rent sim time from AA. Contact them directly.
