Most US airlines including Southwest do not have restrictions for domestic travel -- only that pregnant women may not sit at an emergency exit. A few airlines (AA, United) require a doctor's ok to travel during the last month of pregnancy. The baby has his/her own schedule, regardless.

I nearly had an increase in POB on an ambulance flight from Shetland to Aberdeen. The lady was in labour during the flight. I think she gave birth in the ambulance or just after getting to the hospital.
It wouldn't have been the 1st for Loganair. There was a child born on board an ambulance flight, and a sibling in the ambulance after landing. I flew their 16th birthday present from Loganair: A free scenic flight around Shetland.
