Design of rapid exit taxiways

hi everyone,
i am a researcher who is interested in the design of rapid exit taxiways,
i have looked up the ICAO, and the FAA but the ICAO looks some how misleading regarding the RET , i am trying to find the discrepancies between the theories and assumptions both has put (in addition to softwares used in design) to conclude the location, turn of radius and number of rapid exit taxiways.

i would be so pleased if i could some help,

regards,
