Columbia 400 Trim Control Switch Assy
Just got a very disturbing news. I ordered a trim control switch assy for a Lancair Columbia 400 I am operating and was given a lead time of 90 days. After waiting for 90 days Cessna came back to say that the part manufacturer is no longer producing the part without offering any solutions or alternatives.
Just wondering if anyone out there can help or know where I can get the part. The Part No is: 080A0200-1. BTW the aircraft is a 2005 make with Avidyne

Lancair was bought over by Cessna and Cessna was the first place I was looking at. However Cessna just told me that the part was manufactured by a third party who has discontinued production without offering any solution or alternatives.

Well, that's not entirely accurate, only Lancair's complete aircraft division was bought by Cessna, their kit division is still independent. I suggest you contact them.
Kit Components, Inc -- a division of Lancair International
