JAR type rating onto my US licence - Info please
Greetings all
Information required please. I hold a US ATP and would like to have my JAR type rating put onto it to broaden future employment prospects.
Can someone 'in the know' please remind me how I can do this. Tried faa.gov but spent ages looking and got nowhere.
Similarly, what are the requirements to get the US certificate current again, aside from an updated medical. I'm current in Europe so have definitely covered the 6-6-6. (Yeah ... I know I should know this stuff, but the last time I read the FARs was 1993).

Take a check ride (type) in the respective aeroplane....the only way.
If you just want to get recurrent (for a small aircraft) a flight review from an instructor will do.....but read those regs...a lot has changed.
