2 year contract/training bond

Hi all.

Been looking at working for a 121 airline, This one wants pilots to sign a 2 year contract/ training bond. Is this normal in todays times ?

Not usually but I heard American Eagle does than for low time pilots. If you're a higher time pilot they don't require that.
