Airline Safety Act

Just want to know if anyone thinks the new Airline Safety Act change the state of the US airline industry??

I don't think anything will change till the pay rates go up, especially at the regionals.

Thoughts??

It won't change much just yet, the 3 year grace period will be a factor.
I think that the bill is a good idea but various institutions will be lobbying against certain details before it's finalized.
The regionals will complain that they can't find enough pilots then the minimums might be lowered again.
Certain fancy aviation universities are trying to get their students through with lower mins which will screw things up a bit.
Who knows? All speculation on my part, time will tell.

Regionals

If the regional would pay better then they would not loose so many pilots every year.
