Virgin America Details
Hey, anyone out there heard anything recently about Virgin America ?
Heard they were still trying to find current and qualified A-320 guys to hire, and that If you have more than a couple thousand hrs on type you can be fast tracked for command in under 6 months. Any truth to this ?
Any V.A. guys care to comment ? Any info on pay and allowances, schedule, basses, anything ? Also, anyword on delivery of more 320's ?
Thanks and kind regards.

The fact that Don Carty has anything to do with this airline is enough to keep most self respecting pilots away. Remember Mr. Carty resigned from AA when it was discovered that after stripping away his pilots pay, he continued to receive his bonus and regular pay. Even though he professed to have taken a pay cut as well. His VP of Flight went at the same time when it was discovered that he too had made no sacrafices.
