Cool Red Bi-plane Formation - S/SE Tampa

Hi

I just want to know who are the four red biplanes that regularly fly over Riverview/SE Tampa. My friends there, who I visit from UK a few times a year, keep telling me about seeing the formation but whenever I am over you guys just don't appear!

At the mo, it would seem that you are practising formation between 2-3pm EST?

Are you based at Vandenberg? My first ever light aircraft flight was in a Stampe in S England so I have a particular love for biplanes!!

ALSO ... a triplane was seen the other day. Where is that from?

Thanks!!

brockie

P.S. subject to BA strike action I am due over again in a couple weeks!

Cool

Thanks for the replies prafn and Fly Tester - I have sent the link to my chums and will see if the "look" fits! As the first display of the Squadron this year is the Florida International Airshow at the end of March it might make sense that they are practising display routines in the warmth, sunshine (and ??!!tornadoes) of Florida during the winter

It was the Red Baron Pizza team. The flew last week at the Tampa's Gasparilla celebration. They are based in Marshal,MN when the Schwanns company bought Red Barons Pizza's parent team.
