Cameron Atfield and Rosanne Barrett

29jan06 AN American Navy pilot with the USS Ronald Reagan has been forced to eject from a fighter jet off the Australian coast after a night landing "mishap" on the aircraft carrier.

The pilot, whose name was not released, spent 15 minutes in the ocean but was unharmed when recovered.
