A320 Examiner

I am currently in the process to obtain an FAA ATP license. As the A320 is the aircraft I am currently flying, I would like to take the ATP flight check on this aircraft type.
I have already contacted an organization that is willing to dry lease the simulator for this purpose. I must now find an A320 FAA Designated Examiner that could do the checkride on the A320 simulator.
If anyone knows an FAA examiner (preferentially in the Minneapolis area) that could do the checkride, please contact me

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi balaco.

Here is a link to the FAA designated examiner list. A quick search did not find any A-320 examiners. A more thorough search might yield better results. Good hunting.

Thanks Westhawk.

I had already looked up that list, but there seems to be no A320 examiners there. The quest continues...

Cheers,

balaco,

Looking in the KMIA area might be mnore fruitful. I think Airbus has some kind of facility there but not sure of the extent.

Also try www.simcenter.cc as they have an A320 type rating program and must have an examiner on staff.

Pan Am Academy or Aero Services ??? Don't know but they are rating mills and if they have an A320 program, they'll have access to an examiner.

Airbus also has a training facility in Denver, so you might find an examiner there.

I have a very good friend who is an A320 instructor at Airbus-Denver (alas, not an examiner, however). Perhaps he might know an examiner who would make the trek to Minneapolis.

If he has any leads, I will PM you.

Good luck.
