ATP on B1900

Hi,

I'am looking for an examiner and a B1900 for past my ATP checkride on this aircraft and if everybody have some good adress, I take.

If I will past my ATP with B1900 Type rating, what I need
exactly, only a checkride or more ? Because some flying school told me "you must be do B1900 type rating programme and after the ATP" ???? ( I have 2400 time on B1900 !!!)

My actual situation :
French citizen
Holding US CPL-IR-ME Land n° 2572277 , date of issue : 20 dec 1997, but I haven't biannual check

Employed as pilot on B1900 D
Holding written JAA ATPL, JAA CPL-IR-ME n° 15249/92, 2800 total time, 2400 time on B1900 D
JAA rated and current on B1900 D.

If you have a solution ?

Bye

FS

You have two choices.

1. Do a complete Type Rating course and use the check ride as an ATP ride all in one. This way allows you to do it in a sim. You cannot do it in a sim without doing the type rating course.

2. Do it in an airplane. No training required, just find a 1900 to rent, go to the FAA web site and find out which examiners have 1900 type rating authority.

You may still be required to go through TSA background checks etc wichever way you do it.....option 2 may not be possible since the new TSA rules (???)

Hi Concordino,

A+

Franck

Hi mjbow2

After contacting TSA, They are reply me that I don\'t must be check on TSA, because I have US commercial licence, and B1900 type rating in France.

But the big problem is to find an examiner and B1900, If you have some idea ?

Salut,

A+

Franck

I know a few BE 1900 examiners here in Denver and a reasonable school who could do the course for you. PM me for details and I will refer you to the right people. I'm a BE 1900 Pilot myself.

mjbow2,

Yes, I used to be rated on the 1900D and underwent a full type rating course.

Ok here's my limited french..

My two centimes.....

Heres an answer.
Bill Fisher.
He used to be also TRE for Dornier 328 at United Express (Air Wisconsin).
One of the few free lance TRE/TRI on 1900s.

Good luck,
Try to contact Air one express in Sioux falls South Dakota..they still may have his contacts..
