TOMCAT...can you elaborate on your posting? I have a friend at China Airlines who knows him. He was at EVA and then CAL.
I have some experience with him just briefly.

I appreciate your asking. I would suspect that he reads PPRUNE. There is nothing I have said here publicly that I would have to take back, however I don't know the man except for e-mails and his ad. We have a mutual friend at CAL. All I know is that he worked at Eva and China Airlines and he lives in Hawaii (check his web site) and started his own company to get pilots for foreign contract namely Taiwan.
I asked him a series of questions about one of his contacts namely if a US FAA FIRST CLASS physical was required for EVA in what appears to be a short term temporary contract in the 767. His answer was that "I wouldn't be happy anywhere". I think he knew I was at CAL,but may not have remembered.
Frankly, I'm just not intereted in chasing around the world and being subjected to physicals way in excess of what is necessary and being gone 22 days of 30 each month.
this has nothing to do with Bumgarner, but companies that are smart would have scheduled their workers to be in their home comuntries to some reasonable level, but unfortunately I found myself being shipped to placed that were unnecessary.
Creative companies that are looking to retain pilots will make their lives as good as they can especially when there is no cost for doing something like pilot scheduling.
