Question Non US Citizens

A year ago I put myself thru the FAA dispatch licence at Sheffield, Fort Lauderdale.

Do any US Companies accept apllicants from non US nationals or would I just be wasting my time:

I am from the UK (British Passport)... no criminal record
I held a Student Visa for the USA
My Sister lives in the US and is married to an American...... could that affect sponsorship etc....

I heard that it was impossible to get an airside pass post 9/11 and that airlines recruitment was obviously in decline however the latter seemed to be wrong after checking out certain US carriers websites.

Any info would help

Gonna need a green card to be competitive.

Obviously at a minimum: a Visa, but they aren't for long duration, and I can't see anyone hiring someone that must leave the country in 24 months time.

As for sponsorship for a green card: chances are very slim. Plan a honeymoon.......
