TUI Nordic is using the same assessment as Thomsonfly.
So if you search on Thomsonfly you'll find loads of information.

Good luck!

Still no one in here based in Helsinki?

The interview is as follows.

Day one: a multitude of english, reading and understanding, technological, logic and mathmatic tests. For day one there are MANY potential candidates invited. This one takes either a morning or an anfternoon.

After they have had a chance to go through the tests they will then invite a select number of candidates to day two which is about a week later.

Day two involves showing up at SAS training center at ARN for two interviews; one with management pilots (canned interview in accordance with Thompson rules, partly in english and partly in Swedish), one with union pilots, a chat with a psychologist (very informal, just talk through your career history and she might answer a few questions, this one in english), a sim flight (DC-8 or Fokker 28). They will give you all power settings and the route to fly. Basically three identical appraches and departures. The first one they will talk you through everything, the third one you need to to unaided. Very relaxed, no problem.

Any more questions, PM me.

Boeing Boy,

Current fleet plan shows 2 x 763 being flown for Nordic this winter (with 3 TOM pilots going with them) and only one aircraft will return to the UK. The 4 x 757s are being replaced by a mix of new and your old 738s (i think) over the next year. They are to be retrofitted with blended winglets and an updated FMC before being transferred to Nordic.

I'm not sure if they will replace some of your 737s or be additions to your fleet.

Information from a recent trip with a Mngmt Pilot.

What kind of mathematical tests

Hi,

curios about what kind of mathematical test, are we talking equations and stuff or? Anything in particular you should refresh before showing up to the test?

Thanks

think they go as far as the x2 equations, so brush up is most likely needed...:}
