If you look amount of advertised jobs you must agree that we never had more jobs available in aviation! As example, if you are B737 or A320 pilot you can choose where to work.

thats true. But only jobs that require a typerating and MINIMUM 300 hours on type. There is no shortage of pilots with only piston time and most likely it will never be.

I would be VERY happy if we had shortage in Europe but I don't see it comming. There are to many pilots out there in order for it to become a shortage and every year new pilots get their license and joins our club.


Anyway good luck to everyone and I really hope you don't have to wait as long as I have so far for that job to come.

When the experienced pilots from GA works move onward to airlines it will naturally open jobs what you may be qualified etc...Just think positively, jobs are there!

Yes, I paid for the rating 2 years ago and today I have appr. 400h on type.. But I haven´t paid for the hours ;)
