JAR CONVERSION , ANY SUGGESTIONS ??

DEAR mates

I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO CONVERT MY FAA LICENSE TO JAA

SO FROM what i know i should go for the 13 ATP EXAMS

SO I WAS WONDERING WHERE I CAN FIND A CHEAP SCHOOL TO DO THE CONVERSION WITH ?

WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR ADVICE

Not to be a douchebag, but ALL CAPS is annoying, and there are a bunch of different schools mentioned in mant different threads like this one. Do a search. Anyway, Europe is expensive. You might wanna do it in a school in the US. Meaning your options are limited. Just google it :)

14 ATPL exams, distance learning or full time.

Do that first, will take you some time, and than do example Stapleford or other modular school.

Are you converting airplane or helicopter? Helicopter is 13 exams, airplane is 14.

Do you have an ICAO ATP or ICAO CPL? It makes a little bit of a difference.

I have ICAO CPL multi engine with ATP FROZEN

I only have 200 hrs :(

also, anywhere south of Scandinavia will be a lot cheaper, the difference can be up to 50% less

Germany has a good relation money vs. quality, Spain is dangerous because the crisis, but there are some good places to go, England and Ireland are options too. But Scandinavia is the most expensive place.

in your opinion what would be a good price or average price ?

I recommend that you read this thread and the links in the thread...
http://www.pprune.org/professional-p...-jaa-atpl.html

You will most likely not complete a conversion for less than €10,000.
http://www.pprune.org/professional-p...5-figures.html

If you have a foreign instrument rating, the conversion of the instrument rating involved a MINIMUM of 10 hours in sim and 5 hours of instrument flying in a plane. There is a max of 10 hours in the sim, and a minimum of 15 hours of IR training in Europe.
