Transwede
Can anyone tell of the fate of most of the guys and gals in that outfit, I had 3 glorious summers flying MD's with them as a contract pilot. Are some of them mixed up in the SAS cut backs.
Would love to renew contact - PM if you like.
All the best from south the equator.

Transwede was later aquired by Braathens, who merged it (unsuccessfully) with MalmoAviation. Soon all the old Transwede routes were dropped, and so were all their a/c. But fortunately for the pilots, the seniority lists were already merged so today most of the old Transwede pilots can be found at Malmo Aviation. If there is someone in particular you are looking for, drop me a mail and I can probably forward it....

What seems to be the problem RTO?
It seems quite strange to me, that every time a SAS or ex SAS pilot has strong opinions, or misinforms on this forum, he or she gets the critisism on behalf of the SAS pilots as a group, not as an individual. I do not work for SAS, and to a certain degree I aggree with some of the critisism against them, but this one was way out of line RTO. If we are to have any chance of them continuing to participate in this forum, and even try to get a sound SAS attitude discussion going, we all need to be slightly more relevant than this. Otherwise, all comments towards the SAS pilots will be met by the "you are just bitter because yo got NO from the SAS selection board" attitude.....

I have to agree with R McK in that the SAS-attack is totally uncalled for. Other pilot's make mistakes and wrongful statements as well (I think ).
RTO; What makes you think KADS is SAS/Ex SAS??? I think you'd be surprised...
By the way...I don't work for SAS either

RTO -
I am sorry if my effort to help the "poor guy" in some way offended you. Maybe you misinterpreted me or maybe your knowledge of the english language is below the required standard of common communication. I just asked if I could be of any assistance. Your bitter remark about SAS and your generalisation of their crew on the other hand speaks for itself.
Oh, by the way. Did you know that not EVERY MD flying person with Transwede went on to fly with BLX? So it seems that you are not entirely correct in your assessment of me nor the SAS community.
Have a nice day!
