I can't see how the swedish CAA could ground goodjet as they merely organize the flights.

I think the fat lady has sung the first verse.

If you go to www.goodjet.com the site is not functioning. It seems the site has not been maintained at all lately. As goodjet presumably sold most tickets via internet and this is not maintained, a january 15 startup does not seem to be in the cards.

The fat lady has finished singing and is leaving the building.

From www.boarding.no

Goodjet-kollapsen:

So long GoodJet.

Another "underfunded" low-cost carrier bites the dust. What is the likelihood of another Swedish based low-cost carrier surviving against SAS and Malmo? What's the betting that Skavsta will be announced as Ryanair's first Scandinavian base by the end of the month?

Exclamation

For the sake of all current and forthcoming swedish pilots I hope they (Ryan Air) do not announce that.....

What AIRCRAFT photos do YOU want?

NJR, no problem putting in a link to your website; this is a small forum after all and perhaps some of the pictures are if interest to the reacers of the forum.
But 3 posts with links is pushing it way to far man!

If you want to keep advertising your site on PPRuNe, I strongly suggest you send a mail to Admin and pay for the space.
Stop wasting Danny's hospitality and my time.
Please.
Have a good weekend all.

KADS

Sorry to disappoint you, but as you may have seen, Ryanair have just announced Skavsta is to be their first Swedish base:

Question

Does anyone know if they can open a base in Sweden but disregard all the rules in Sweden about employee's rights to form unions and so on. I know they are all employed through Ireland etc, but since Sweden is pretty stringent about stuff like that I'm just curious. If not, it's a shame. Competing with swedish airlines on their home turf and to play with a diffrent set of rules will definetely catch the eyes of the press.
I sure hope we'll see it played differently!

Wouldn't be holding my breath on that KADS..

Just have to face it's now anyones "turf" since it's just the one market..

Even if the swedish union/labour-organisations/legislations wanted to interfere (which I'm sure they would want to) I don't think they can, since it would be against the whole idea of the EU.
Bet it would be a nice PR-stunt for MOL to win a case against a union in the high courts of the EU.

Don't shoot the messenger on this one..
