Star Air?
Anyone know when and if Star Air A/S will be recruiting again? I have my application in there but have not heard anything since they sent the application form.
I guess cargo is doing well so they should still be recruiting...or?

Hi Will. I haven`t heard anything from the inside, but as you mentioning - cargo/ overnight express is doing just fine, so you never know if they are going to expand - keep on updating. Very fine outfit to work for anyway.

Hello Freak;
Try a look at Scanair.net and look under SkandinaviskeFlyselskaber ..
There you can find Star Air and info (Address, planes, registers and so on) about them ...

Cargo doing fine .......
Better than pax perhaps, but "just fine" would be a gross over-estimate!
Historically cargo is the first area to see the effects of a recession, but also the first area to see the traffic pick back up. Unfortuneatly the volumes are flat, the rates are going south and the light at the end of the tunnel has been shut off to save a few bucks

Freak on a.........
4 x 757 delivered as cargo aircrafts
4 x 727 ex. pax but modified with Rolls engines, HGS and EFIS.
Flip flop......... okay then, but I think in general that overnights carrierers like UPS, DHL etc are doing just ..........fine.

Triple TAY,
As someone working in one of the companies you mention I can tell you that we are far from doing "fine". Horrible would be an exaggeration, but still a damn sight closer than "fine".
