Angry Shameful Behavior

Well I dont speak "Sveedish" ...or whatever other language you speak in here..but from what I have seen in English directed to Moderator Flapsforty you should be ashamed of yourselves..

Without going into the usual tirade about what a good job Moderators do..suffice to say that Flaps has a profession as you do and no doubt a life out of PPRuNe.. In her voluntary job as a moderator she is responsible for managing difficult forums including this one.

If you have no respect for the moderator role in this forum ..than have respect for Flaps as a woman.. You say that you are only "teasing" in your remarks....no way..in the weeks I have observed ..its straight up..insulting, verbal abuse!

Would you direct such remarks to your wives, mothers, daughters? I'd be surprised...but then maybe I wouldnt!!

You bring no respect to your forum or your profession.

..now I got a feeling I'm not meant to be in here..so I'm going to scuttle off before I get booted.

Skylark,

We do no such thing as herassing our Mod here!

Woman or not , we respect her anyway.

Eh,

We`ve never had a Poledancer here before. What`s that?
Can you stay here for a while and we will show you the sights?
Then you`ll find out that we are good guys.

Wink

It's not that bad....And I think it's been sorted out now even though it takes some reading in different threads to grasp it all.

Cheer up, you old bug¤er. Come on. Give us a grin. There you are. See?....

Re: Shameful Behavior

Skylark,

Never seen you around before. Are you one of these guys that sit on the fence, quietly waiting for the storm to settle, and then jump in with your valuable comments. Where we`re coming from we enjoy the heat of the moment. Try it, you`ll like it

Sky I appreciate your concern.

But the Vikings and I have come to a mutual & amicable understanding.
They pretend they never meant it that way, and I pretend I never understood what they said anyway.

Really.
We're doing fine here.
No hard feelings on either side, and that's a pretty good basis for the forseeable future.
Let's leave it at that!

and the fact that they don't know what a pole dancer is, shows you what a thoroughly decent bunch they really are, underneath all the hairy scariness.

Oh yes the Poledancing,
There are poles and there are poles....

I did a google search and found out of course.
I will refrain from giving you a link because that will surely be moderated.

However ,we as Vikings are very liberal in any way, so feel free if you want to practise your skills any time.

And with regards to "shameful behaviour" ,I think there are different views on different things...

A Pole Dancer is someone who is not yet a Table Dancer.

Talking POLE DANCING

Pole Dancing..is a traditional Celtic dance involving the wrapping of the May Pole with red and white ribbons..the dancers weave and intertwine the ribbons traditionally to honour the Greek goddess Maia.. and is part of the May Day celebrations in Britain.

Naughty,naughty Nordic gentlemen..

Re: POLE DANCING

Skylark,

Naughty? This is the way the Vikings greet their new friends. And when they stick the neck out like you did.................... Welcome to Nordic forum.

Nope Bengt, Sugars Uptown Cabaret, Highland Mall Boulevard.

Just north of the Highland Mall.

Really nice girls, especially the 'day' team who take good care of all the IT people having extended lunches now and then.

Many of them are local university students earning a bit extra.

I see from Skylark's post that there are regional differences between the Pole Dancing styles.

In the US they seem to prefer to weave between green 1 dollar bills

Regards
Michael

Oh that will be good news for Bengt Engel since he has already tried the "bowling-greppet"* on one of the dancers in his old joint. He'll most likely appreciate a new place to excercise his "one of a kind" sport.

* Those of you that don't practice or don't know what the "Bowling-greppet" is I can tell you that it involves one thumb and two of the other fingers

I think that we better refer Bengt to another place if he wants to practice 'Bowling-greppet.

One of those BYOB (Buy Your Own Beer) establishments. Bengt would know what that implies.

Talking
