Jeg ser du er tilbake på forumet igjen.
Hva i all verden var det som skjedde?
Jeg gikk tydeligvis glipp av det uansett, må være tidsforskjellen.
Jeg ble kastet ut selv for en stund siden.
Er terskelen blitt lavere her på forumet?

1. I did`nt know words like @rse was acceptable on pprune
2. We know, there are many others. How many? Who cares as long as we have Nordic Forum (and the freedom to speak)
3. Make no mistakes; we have e-mailed our TowerDog

OK Flaps,
I stand corrected and I CAN take a virtual slap.
I know the PM system, allthough I have never used it myself.
I ignorantly posted this thread because this is a FORUM.
i.e. that someone else than TD could answer me back.
This is a Discussion forum ,and I like to air my few posts in public rather than PM people.
I`ve read the rules and respect them.
You know I was pulled out from the Forum a while back and I respect that too, even if I was surprised given the reason for it.
In view of the meaning of my thread I wish you hadn`t brought in the Paranoia Cure thing.
I actually take that as a personal offence.It probably wasn`t meant that way,but that is how I feel about it.
After saying that , I also can understand that you feel that members of this forum are "ganging" up on you.
I`m sure it`s just a kind of "between us boys" thing.
Nothing serious at all.
Nevertheless I hereby send a message to the rest of the members to think twice when directing opinions toward other persons , whether they are moderators or other members.

Jaja, da er det 2 threads om samme saken og de samme folkene bruker de samme "argumentene" igjen...
Angle og Arctic; jeg tror ikke vi får tilbake TowerDog...høvdingene har talt og slaget er nok tapt.
Kjenner ikke til saken i det hele tatt, men hvis TD har latt seg provosere av en eller annens meninger burde han kanskje heller ha gjort opp med det andre partiet i f.eks. "private messages" eller pr e-mail - ikke i et åpent forum.Ihvertfall er det min mening, men igjen - jeg kjenner ikke så mye til saken.
Hva jeg tror menes med hvem som er den "virkelige" moderator - dvs hvem som har det siste ordet punktum, er nok de som sitter på toppen og, om dere vil, modererer de respektive moderators.

Flaps, vi slenger mye dritt til hverandre her på forumet - kan hende at noen tar seg nær av sånt, men det er ikke vondt ment, selv om du har et par eksempler som er i grenseland for hva man kalles akseptabelt av profesjonelle piloter...Det har nok også noe å gjøre med at før du begynte å moderere oss, så gjorde vi det selv og det gikk forsåvidt glatt.

OK gutter, dere kann få det akkurat som dere vill ha det, I'll spell it out for you.
When TowerDog got temporarily banned for something he posted on another forum, a number of you didn't bother finding out the facts, but instead immediately assumed that it was my doing for something he posted on this forum.
Playing the poor victims in a big way & accusing me of all sorts of shenanigans. Paranoia in action!
And have any of you bothered to apologise for that afterwards?

By posting an honest explanation about how my name came to be at the top of this forum, I hold out a hand of friendship and hope to make a fresh start.
Of the 83 people who read that thread upto now, only one has made the effort to say something pleasant.

So guys, as I said it is up to you.
I am happy to forget all the sh*t you have thrown at me in the heat of the moment, but hell will freeze over before I apologise for anything I have said in here.

A lot of what you have seen is the perhaps special form of Nordic humor - a form of sarchasm.
Some of us probably feel that the you should not have used the language you did in the Paranoia post - because we assume that a Moderator is above such language. (yes I know that you should not 'ass U Me').
I have NOT sensed any seriously meant attack on you, but a lot of the 'teasing' that is common at least in Denmark and Norway which I know best.
When somebody steps in as a moderator (and nobody knew that you did not know..) they can expect a bit of flak, but I do believe that it was all meant as humor. After all the moderator is the 'bad guy'.
The eternal problem with message boards is that the smile does not get carried across along with the words. I have participated in message boards for many years, seen arguments and every time you actually meet the people they are mostly very nice.
The fact that you did not arrive and say hello after you name was announced probably triggered a few posts intended to wake you up - in a good meaning.
Please don't feel we are hostile.

and I will like to end it as well.
I just want to say that I was totally surprised with the response from Flaps.
One morning I found that TD`s account was closed.
Later that day I noticed TD in the "who is browsing this forum" window.
Ok,so I thought : fine, he is back and I`ll ask him what happened.
Stupid ,stupid me.....
I thought he would respond to the post and may be inform me back.
Instead I get the answer from the Mod about Paranoia lessons that tells me to get my head out of my @rse,read the whole PPrune Forums and refrain from ignorant presumptions and mail him instead.
In my meaning that was a bit over the top.
Another mod. explained later that the reason for TD`s removal was to be found in the Freight Dogs forum.
