Icelandair Personality Tests
Hi,
Has anyone got any experience with the Icelandair personality tests and what to expect. I understand personality tests to mean a questionnaire type thing asking what type of person you are but there are apparently 4 tests so I assume these are more aptitude type tests.
Has anyone got any experience who can give me a heads up of what to expect? I naturally want to do well and would like to prepare properly.
Thanks

Hi Rugbyjack2005, this test you are talking about is an exam with hundreds of random statements about all kinds of thing and you are supposed to indicate if you agree or disagree with it, there is no way of preparing for it you just have to go through with it and dont spend to much time on each question as there is a time limit.

That's my understanding of personality tests too but as there are 4 exams, I assumed they actually meant personal tests and they were more like apptitude tests as surely you can't have 4 personality tests can you?
Have you been through the Icelandair recruitment?

Hello Rugbyjack2005 and MAWEA,
I am also interested in the Icelandair personnality tests. I believe it similar to the tests online we can have with Easyjet or Norwegian where we need to prioritise subjects or chose between several answers what we would do in special case in aviation such as "your captain smells like the party never stopped last night, what do you do ?", am I right ?

Do you have an interview with Icelandair too?

Hi there, I'm thinking about trying something different and looked into Icelandair..
Noticed this in their application info though: "Due to seasonal fluctuations in Icelandair activity, we expect new pilots to start operating spring 2018 and work until autumn 2018".
Are they seriously hiring just for "summer work"??
Regards Kmyf

Assessments 5,6,7 June.
Same here. No response yet. Some of the guys I know got the "yes" within a week or two. Some got a "no" within 48 hours. I think most are still waiting. But they did say we might have to wait until September for an answer.
