Seriously... don't go buy a type rating on the CRJ just because the airlines are hiring for that. There are plenty of guys with CRJ experience and SAS prefers experience, so don't waste your money!

Checklist;
1. Send in CV and/or application form.
2. Wait for response.
3. Positive respone -> Good for you! Go to the interview/selection and do your best.
4. Negative response -> Too bad, but keep trying.
Do not, for any reason, buy a typerating before going to an interview, or for that matter for any other reason than perhaps owning your own aircraft and intend to fly privately

There are many of us putting in an effort to turn the ship in another direction (not necessarily around), so that up and comers don`t have to buy they way into a job (let alone a crappy contract - you know the kind).
Bottom line - don`t do it! You`re screwing yourself and the rest of us!
