G'day Aussie,

Man, you are offtrack. Goes to show you probably didn't listen in geography classes. Go back to square one and open your altas again, and see if you can find Basel!

Hint: look at switzerland, that tighten your neckmuscles and bring you eyes up north...way north. There you will find us. Scandinavia. A little country where the capital is Tivoli city and is situated in the mountaineous area of Tronheimous. Most common name is Jönsson!

Sorry, mate, couldn't resist! No I don't think that they are hiring down in crossair because of the general crisis. However, we at SAS have abolished our requirement for knowledge of the scandinavian language. To be honest I don't know if we are hiring, but check www.sasflightops.com.
Good luck to you.

Hey bloke,

Was just saying that the problem for us Aussies is getting the passport to work the EU, and that there are a lot of unemployed pilots around now...

Which is probably why you and me are looking at leaving these Antipodean shores to venture into the big wide world. I am lucky enough to still have a job, but want to fly overseas anyway.

compressor stall...

I just read a few weeks ago that the norwegian foreign ministry had signed an agreement with the aussies that young people could come and work between these two countries for a year. I don't know for sure about what happens after that year, but it might be worth checking out UD or something else (odin.no , I think). I know this for sure since I have a brother down there and I'm between two jobs.

check it out.

And... I don't think SAS is looking for one year contracts.

good luck

Sorry to say that a friend of mine who's flying for Crossair just informed me that they have stopped all hiring until further notice.
