crashpad/room Helsinki

does anyone have any suggestions on affordable commuter room/apartment rental in Helsinki. Preferably with easy access to the airport?

Any tips or suggestions are gratefully accepted.

regards, stamo

Hey

Check out www.oikotie.fi or www.tori.fi . If your Finnish isn't so stiff, use google translate. You're looking for "voukraassunnot".

4th most expensive country in the world and the most expensive Euro-zone country, you'll be up for a bit of a surprise when it comes to rental prices in the capital area, even in the not so good areas.

thanks for your inputs folks. I have found an apartment, and my experience is that getting a local ally to post an ad for you in finish will do the trick.
And yes! the euro doesnt stretch far in the finnish market.

I have a friend working in the industry looking for similar place to crash - decent chap who is away 1,5 full weeks per month and other days at work during the odd hours we're used to.

PM me if you 'care to share' your place - rent paid in cash €€€
