Question Blue1 avro contract

Hi everyone,
Contractors PAS Aviation offers positions for experienced 1st officers and captain to work for Blue1 for 12 months on their AVRO RJ85
I'd like to know more about the working conditions in Blue1.
I've checked the Airline website they have quite a few routes but as they have multi types aircraft (Avro / MD80 and just introduced B717) what routes are flown by the Avro ?
How busy are the rosters ? how many hours per month can expect a First Officer ?
Even if as a contractor some of theses conditions would probably different I still 'd like to know.
As I've seen the company is planing to replace the whole fleet by B717. They've already started and operated their first flight on the B717 this month I believe. Does anybody knows the replacement schedule ? How many Avro will be left 12 months from now ?
If anybody from the inside could throw light on me, that be nice.
regards

I think you win an award for the most questions asked in one post. Why not call/email PAS and ask them?

thanks for the award I put that trophy on my shelf next to the others ...
PAS aviation would probably tell me what I want to hear to sell their contract and maybe not the reality, I already know most of their conditions. That's why I'm asking here maybe to get a more honest answer from somebody inside the company.

PAS can only tell you what they hear back from the guys (usually only the bad news ) as most of the details you ask are not part of the contract, but don't worry , they won't hide anything from you,I worked for a few agencies, and they really are good folk but you are quite correct to ask on here, although the response will depend on how many of their guys are ppruners. . . One piece of advice though, last Winter was very severe, they say this one will be worse still, so allow in your budget for "suitable" clothing ( No such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes) Ah well, there is always "Acatraz" if it still exists.

Here`s what I found from their own website (just the facts ma`am, as they say);
Fleet 13 jets (of which 7 are Avros)
Daily flights 66
Destinations 24

Blue1 - choose your country

From what I read elsewhere, the company seems stable, and the T&Cs are ok. Not top notch, but not at the bottom either. Don`t know how the T&Cs are through said agency though. You might want to try to get in touch with somebody in their union and ask them about rostering and such.

Member of the SAS Group, and also Star Alliance.

Other than that, there`s always ppjn.com and a search option here at pprune. Good for you getting offered a contract! Is there a possiblity of getting hired beyond the contract?

As far as I understood the company is planing for a fleet expansion so while working there if you make friend with the right people I suppose there is a chance .

No problems... just 5-10min interview, no specific questions and 20min in the simulator. Very friendly people from Blue1.
