Aviation shops in Köbenhavn ?
Hi.
Does anyone have addresses or even just links to pilot shops in Copenhagen ?
I'm looking into buying a Sennheiser HMEC 26-T Headset and I would like to know if it is available for sale over there.
Thanks in advance

Because the X is too big to use in a 757. I have the DC X11 which is smaller than the X but that's still too big.
Anyways, it seems as no shop in DK sells those Sennheisers.
Thanks.

....well with me and my overinflated ego it is, just kidding.
The problem is they are too big in the respect that they have to much passive noise attenuation for an aircraft which doesn't have an active intercomm. The sennheisers are supposed to have a talk-through function i.e. microphones on the outside cups which let in "spoken frequencies". Therefore, I can use the full active noise canceling function on both ears but still hear the old guy in the left seat. The X and X11 doesn't allow me that.

proxus, check out the Clarity Aloft headset. I'm looking at it possibly myself. Have a few collegues using it and they love it. If you don't mind putting things into your ears that is, it's really light, doesn't go over your head and messing out the hairdoo and the noice cancellation is apparently reeeally good. Should be perfect for the very loud 757 flightdeck, especially certain X 757-300's and the cargo ones
Then you can just pull out the left ear plug and it just hangs, should you need to speak to someone directly or the older guy in the other seat, so no re-adjusting the headset all the time. I thought some of the 757's had intercom?
I have not tried this HMEC 27-T but it looks really nice, but I have tried the HMEC 46 which is somewhat different I guess but I hated it, my ears got sore on the longer flights.

SR-22 thanks for the info. I have checked it out. I am trying to find some solution so I can have both my ears covered even though I'm speaking and listening to the other bloke. Otherwise I'd continue using the X11.
Thanks anyways.
Thanks anyways.
