Day trip flights from Oslo
Hey guys,
Wondering if anybody knows of any nice 'day trip' locations within an hour or so from Oslo. Someplace nice to fly to that perhaps has a restaurant or something at the other end? I'm new to Norway and don't know the country that well.
Be flying in a 172.
Any advice is MUCH appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
AB

Notodden - ENNO, just south-east of Gaustadtoppen. Why Notodden you ask? Because you could get som real flying done - soaring!! Notodden is a soaring mekka, hosting 2 soaring clubs and a greate scenery
Good and cheap Chinese restaurant with nice people next to the gliding area to top of the day
Fly safe - low and slow

ENRO Røros is also a very cozy place. Albeit a bit further than 1 hour flying, maybe 1,5hrs, but definitely worth the trip! Can get some mountain flying done as well. A short walk to the town, and there are several restaurants there. Also a hotel if need be
