FBW, sorry about that (this being the nordic forum and all), but here`s the quick hear-say; I got that piece of info from a CC I know there, so you shouldn`t put all your savings on it being true. Kjos stated, at the time of the newsflash, that he didn`t have high hopes for this concept (longhaul at lo-co), but..... not mych later (I think it was 1, max 2, days) he said that he is planning on flying outside of 737 range. So if whether he decides on A or B? I guess we`ll soon find out. Very loosely translated, but you get the idea

This is going to be a hard sell for Feel Air, the Norwegian market after all is not all that large, even if they have withstood the economic difficulties better than most and people have significant disposable income.
Like Norwegians Manager points out, you need feed into this kind of operation from a geographically large country like Norway. Likewise, especially in the US, you need interline connections to disperse the passengers where they really want to go. Maybe they are working on such things, but that complicates the LOCO model.
Let´s not forget that the largest carrier flying Norwegians to the US is...KLM, which have worked hard to get the Norwegian into their network via Amsterdam, providing (nearly) worldwide connections. Another player is Icelandair which has announced plans to increase their presence in the Norwegian market (SVG, BGO, TRD) to feed their hub in Reykjavik.
So, success for this kind of a startup is anything but given.

Thanks Guttn for the translation,

And my opinion: yes, there is a market for LCC, nonstop flights to NYC and BKK. Many people want to fly there!

Good luck to Feel Air!

La tiden vise.....

Heisan

I`m I right?

Mange har brugt 757 til Long Haul start up.

The Queen's language will on occasion be used, but in general, most of the postings are in Scandi Talk.

Questions asked in English will always be answered the same.

FEEL Air Launch Plan

As FEEL Air takes great pride in having sustainable robustness in its plan before commencing traffic, the company has revised its launch date from summer program 2010 to the following winter schedule. CEO Kai Holmberg comments: “Competitive dispositions are complex, but progression is satisfactory as we quality control every element of our effort before we hit the launch button”.

Dear friends of FEEL.

This Faceb**k page was created by a great supporter of FEEL Air. Because of this, please acknowledge that it has not been an official site.

Despite great progress in many areas, FEEL Air has met some challenges in the competitive landscape. When appropriate, an official Faceb**k site will be launched, hence why this page will be deleted on July 31.

Enjoy your summer!
Kai Holmberg, CEO
