Sterling a/c being registered in Iceland
Hi came across a guy from the Icelandic CAA and he told me a Sterling B737-700 is being registered in Iceland, and he thought there were more to follow.
Any "Sterlings" who know what gives? Financial juggling by FONS the majority owner? Would not put anything past those people.

Sterling is owned by Northern Travel Holding. Northern Travel Holding is owned by FL Group with 34 percent and two other Icelandic investment groups, Fons with 44 per cent and Sund with 22 percent.
Icelandic finances is always about taking enormous risks with other people's money. Works just fine in a bull market. Check how the Icelandic economy and their banks are doing now.
Does it matter much where it is registered?. Sterling has Icelandic owners. Many airlines do not own any aircraft, airplanes are valuable, the airline business is risky.
