Bristol-ground ATPL_DL

hi all -
i need some info -
i 'm studying the ATPL_theory with the ATPL_digital software provided me by the Bristol - ground school.
Looks really great ! -
but i noticed it is really summarizing and really essential.
i've some questions for someone who has already dealt with it :

1_ 'solely studying' with their software is sufficient to meet the goal of passing the examinations in a satisfactory way?
2_ or is it strongly advisable to study the subjects also with some definitive collections like Oxford_Jeppesen or Jeppesen_ATF, should be clear I 'm pointing up the questions about the main goal, to pass the exams, not aviation education in deep knowledge .
thank you very much -
bye

You want to pass? Use the software.
You want a job afterwards? Use the software AND know the matieral.

Do you want your family flying with a pilot who just used some software to learn the answers?

Good point!

I demand that any pilot flying my family has detailed knowledge about the construction of an outflow valve AND, can explain the sequence and function of every single page on the 737-400 FMS.

Before riding as passenger I personally ask the pilots to correctly sequence the Rome-, Warzaw- and Tokyo convention.

- Even when flying a Navajo.

"Before riding as passenger I personally ask the pilots to correctly sequence the Rome-, Warzaw- and Tokyo convention."

Not many professional pilots that would pass the ATPL tests a year after taking them, myself included.

The oxford books are crap and can hardly be used for reference, waste of time if you ask me. (Exception being the G-NAV book if I remember correctly).

Good luck!
